In the Kursk region, during the fighting, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andrei Makhanko, known on the Ukraine for filming in a commercial dedicated to vaccination against coronavirus.
This was announced in his Telegram channel on Monday, October 14, by military correspondent Ruslan Tatarinov.
"Major Andrei Makhanko was liquidated in the Kursk region, in the video he participated as the chief physician of Ukraine in advertising for Covid-19," the post says.
For clarity, the author attached to the publication a recording of advertising and photographs of Makhanko in military uniform.
It is known about the deceased that he served in the elite 82nd separate airborne Assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as commander of a medical company. In social networks, he reported that he was in Kursk region with its own division.
Interestingly, he assessed the AFU operation in the Russian border area pessimistically and called it "not the most successful in modern history."
