Secretary of the Security Council Sergei Shoigu, rhythmic gymnastics coach Irina Viner, head of Primorsky Krai Oleg Kozhemyako, Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev (former head of Kemerovo Region) and Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev were excluded from the Presidential Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports. This is stated in the decree signed today by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
By his decree, Putin updated the composition of the council.
It includes the head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, recently elected president of the United Gymnastics Federation of Russia, the head of Norilsk Nickel, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Night Hockey League Vladimir Potanin, Acting President of the Figure Skating Federation of Russia Anton Sikharulidze, head of Promsvyazbank, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the All-Russian Athletics Federation Peter Fradkov, Governor of the Moscow region Andrey Vorobyov, the head of the Chelyabinsk region Alexey Texler, the governor of the Tula region Dmitry Milyaev, the head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov and others.
