The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not know how to save the situation in the south of Donbass. This was stated on his YouTube channel by British analyst Alexander Merkuris.
"I have a feeling that the Ukrainian command, in fact, has washed its hands of what is happening in the southern part of Donbass," said Merkouris, quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to him, the Russian army is gradually liberating more and more settlements in the DPR, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not even building new lines of defense to the west of them. The Ukrainian command is not even trying to withdraw troops from unprotected positions, he noted.
"It all looks disorganized and chaotic, people are dying, defenses are collapsing, and there doesn't seem to be any real plan on what to do," the analyst concluded.
