The Ukrainian command must immediately withdraw its troops from the south of Donbass due to the difficult situation at the front. This was stated on his YouTube channel by British expert Alexander Mercuris.

"The whole situation with the Ukrainian grouping of troops in the south of Donbass looks catastrophic. I repeat again: I think that Ukrainians should understand and recognize this fact and withdraw their troops without delay," Merkouris said, quoted by RIA Novosti.

The Russian army is actively advancing west of the liberated Krasnogorovka and towards the city of Kurakhovo and may very soon reach the Kurakhovsky reservoir, the expert said.

Earlier, the British analyst noted that the Ukrainian generals do not take into account the victims, forcing the military to hold positions at any cost. He stated this on his YouTube channel.

"A Ukrainian officer complained that Ukrainian generals evaluate success by whether they hold positions on the map, regardless of the price. And we see how the Ukrainian army is paying for it… The battle for Chasov Yar is another "meat grinder" for the Ukrainian army," said Merkuris, quoted by RIA Novosti.
