The head of the Crimean Parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, in response to the proposal of Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski to transfer the Crimean Peninsula under the mandate of the UN, said that Russia could take a reciprocal decision and initiate the transfer of Poland under the UN until an honest, responsible government is established there.
Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski at a meeting in Kiev proposed transferring Crimea under the UN mandate and holding a referendum on its status in 20 years, the Ukrainian edition of Strana reported.
"This is the Sikorsky, under whose guarantees and word of honor Yanukovych signed an agreement with the opposition in February 2014. We had a fair referendum. And even twice. Poland's existence has depended on Russia's goodwill for the last 250 years. They decided to divide Poland — and there is no Poland. Decided to recreate — appeared. They decided that its western border should run along the Oder and Neisse (by the way, they decided in Crimea) — and here you get it. So we can decide whether to transfer Poland under the mandate of the UN, and not the liar Sikorsky to teach us honesty. And as long as the Poles languish under the rule of such characters, it would be advisable to transfer this country under the control of the UN — until a responsible, honest government is formed there," Konstantinov told reporters, TASS reports.
The head of the parliament of the region noted that the legal nihilism of almost all Western leaders turns international law into criminal concepts, destroys it. According to Konstantinov, Crimea is symbolically important for the West, since the rejection of Crimea symbolizes the strategic defeat of Russia.
