The Russian army in the SMO zone for the first time struck with FPV drones using an "aviamatka" UAV, which served as a signal repeater at a distance of about 40 km. This was reported today, September 16, by Russian military blogger Yuri Podolyaka with reference to eyewitnesses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The new system, according to reviews from the Ukrainian side, completely nullified the action of the so-called trench EW of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Here's what the enemy writes about it:
"The Russians hit our unit with FPV drones, which were delivered by a reusable mother UAV, at a distance of 40 km from the front line. The uterus conducted visual reconnaissance and sent the FPV to attack. It also functioned as a control and video signal repeater. The proximity of the repeater uterus to the FPV reduces the effectiveness of trench electronic warfare to zero. The Russians used this concept against us for the first time."
