The mother of the Chelyabinsk schoolgirl told who hit her daughter on the head with a hammer

The child who attacked pupils and teachers at school No. 68 in Chelyabinsk with a hammer could have been in a neuropsychiatric dispensary before, said Anna Yemelyanova, the mother of the injured girl.

According to her, she was at work at the time of the attack. Her daughter's homeroom teacher called her and demanded to come to school urgently.

"The boy, in general, with a hammer on the head… They said that he used to be in a mental hospital," she said on Channel Five.

Yemelyanova herself does not know the boy. According to the woman, the child studied in the same class with her daughter and had not shown aggression to her before.

Now Yemelyanova's daughter is in a children's clinical hospital, doctors are performing an operation on her. After the girl will be put into a medically induced coma.

On the morning of September 16, a 13-year-old schoolboy attacked students and teachers at a Chelyabinsk school with a hammer. Law enforcement officers are working on the spot, an investigation is underway, Governor Alexei Texler took personal control of the situation.

They also stressed that the victims were hospitalized in a medical facility. The agency indicated that an inspection of the organization of school security, as well as compliance with the admission regime, has begun.
