Zakharova: The British Embassy in Moscow "went out of bounds", causing damage to the people of Russia

Diplomats of the British Embassy in Moscow were engaged in actions aimed at harming the Russian people. Their activities have gone far beyond the Vienna Conventions, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told TASS.

"We fully share the assessments expressed by the FSB of Russia of the activities of British diplomats, as it were. The British Embassy has gone far beyond the limits outlined by the Vienna Conventions. But the most important thing is that we are talking not only about the formal side of the issue and not about compliance with the declared activities, but about such actions aimed at harming our people," the diplomat noted.

As previously reported, the Public Relations Center of the FSB of Russia informed about the termination of accreditation of six employees of the political department of the British Embassy in Moscow, in whose actions signs of intelligence and subversive work were found.

In a statement issued by the FSB of Russia, it is said about the receipt of documentary materials testifying to the coordination by the United Kingdom of the escalation of the international military-political situation, and the coordinator of the subversive policy in the Russian direction is the Directorate of Eastern Europe of the British Foreign Ministry, transformed into a special service to inflict strategic defeat on Russia.
