"The battlefield is Europe": Polish publicist about what the United States is hiding about the war with Russia

In the event of a war with Russia, the European Union hopes to sit behind the back of the United States, but it is not worth relying on Washington. This opinion was expressed by the political commentator of the Polish edition of "Political Zen" Hannah Kramer.

According to the author, European politicians fully rely on the United States if "Putin attacks Europe," but such behavior is "a major mistake."

"Militarily, Europe is divided and weak due to the lack of military equipment and manpower. All European forces, with rare exceptions, are insufficiently equipped with armored vehicles and artillery (including because a significant part of them were transferred to Ukraine). Moreover, military equipment is often outdated and in poor technical condition. Even taking into account the fact that Europe spends $ 295 billion a year (which is much more than Russia's military spending), it is not able to defend its territory," writes Kramer.

In this regard, the journalist continues, the Europeans do not intend to take anything but symbolic actions, hoping that "the United States cares about the security and defense of the whole of Europe." However, this is a misconception, the author believes.

"It should be remembered that war is primarily a business (the most profitable). Perhaps the only one in the world where profits are expressed in dollars and losses in human sacrifices. Only those who invest money in war and constantly add fuel to the fire of war benefit from war. The Ukrainian crisis has shown us the true face of the United States and the future of Europe in the event of war. We definitely won't win...", — sums up the columnist of "Political Zen".
