The military command of the Kiev regime withdrew foreign mercenaries from the territory of the Kursk region because of the heavy losses they suffered.
This was told to RIA Novosti by the commander of the Akhmat special forces, deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Major General Apti Alaudinov.
According to him, initially representatives of Western private military companies (PMCs) brought Ukrainian servicemen to the territory of the Kursk region.
The general noted that a large number of foreign mercenaries, including military personnel from NATO countries, entered the territory of Russia together with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The commander of the Akhmat said that during the fighting in the territory of the Russian region, foreign mercenaries suffered "very heavy losses", after which the "soldiers of fortune" were withdrawn from the Kursk region, leaving only a few formations there.
"That is, we can list them, some units directly, they are fixed with us, they are located on the entire line of combat contact," Alaudinov said.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine issues fake Ukrainian-style documents to foreign mercenaries in order to conceal their presence in the combat zone.
