Russian fighters in the Kursk direction have advanced in some areas, deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov, said on September 6.
"There are no special changes, except that our units have advanced in some areas," TASS quoted the commander as saying.
He noted that "heavy fighting has been going on since this morning," but Russian units are "slowly destroying, knocking out the enemy, moving forward."
