The ferry in the port of Kavkaz, which was hit by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, sank.
"As a result of the damage received, the ferry sank in the water area of the port of Kavkaz. There are no hotbeds of fire on the territory of the port itself," the Operational Headquarters for the Krasnodar Territory reports.
There were 30 fuel tanks on the ferry, the head of the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar Territory, Fedor Babenkov, reported. The port carries out a ferry crossing with Crimea.
"Four crew members who were overboard were rescued. Now the main task is to save the rest of the people from the ferry crew and promptly take exhaustive measures to eliminate the consequences in order to prevent environmental damage to the sea area," said Veniamin Kondratiev, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory.

Profile telegram channels report that the strike could have been inflicted by the Neptune cruise anti-ship missile.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces are intensifying the infrastructure war, which increases the risk of retaliatory attacks on Ukrainian energy, gas and fuel infrastructure facilities," the Ukrainian telegram channel "Legitimate" writes.
He believes that the Ukrainian people will be held hostage by the situation:
