Iranian TV channels interrupted the broadcast and aired the military anthem. This is reported by the newspaper Türkiye.

"There are suggestions that Iran, which has vowed revenge after the assassination of Hamas leader Haniyeh, may launch an attack against Israel tonight. While the accusations attracted attention, it became known that Iranian TV channels stopped broadcasting and began playing the military anthem. Iran's Supreme leader Khamenei gave President Pezeshkian the authority to wage war," the newspaper writes.

Earlier it was reported that flights between Istanbul and Tehran were canceled one after another on Saturday night. "This led to comments that Iran, which has vowed revenge, could attack Israel tonight," the same newspaper noted.

Flights were canceled by Turkish airlines Turkish Airlines and Ajet, wrote the HavaSosyalMedya portal. According to him, we are talking about 14 flights from Istanbul and Ankara and back. The reasons for this decision are not mentioned.

Meanwhile, the adviser to the Iranian Foreign Ministry posted a photo of the launch of ballistic missiles on his account in the social network X with the caption: "Run. It's coming."

As EADaily reported yesterday, senior Iranian officials met with representatives of Iran's regional allies from Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen to discuss possible retaliatory measures against Israel after the assassination of the Hamas leader in Tehran. This was reported by Reuters with reference to its own sources.

The region faces the risk of a widening conflict between Israel, Iran and its allies after the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on Wednesday and the assassination of a senior Hezbollah commander on Tuesday in an Israeli strike on the outskirts of the Lebanese capital Beirut.
