This was stated at a briefing by Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Andrei Nastasin, clarifying information about the incident.

This was done in violation of the established rules and is qualified by Russian legislation as smuggling of potent substances," the diplomat said, according to TASS.
As reported, the charge d'affaires of the Czech Republic was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on July 29, he was protested in connection with an attempt to smuggle potent substances by an employee of the Czech embassy. As noted in the Russian diplomatic department, in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, the Czech side was asked to waive immunity from the criminal jurisdiction of the Russian Federation in respect of the said embassy employee in order to bring him to criminal responsibility. Otherwise, the employee is instructed to leave the territory of the host country.
