In Krakow, Poland, a protest rally was held in front of the Consulate of the French Republic the day before against the sodomite opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris.
Parishioners of Catholic churches in Krakow took part in the protest event. One of the pani told a reporter of TV Repubblica:
"We came because we don't like what they did at all! If this had happened to Islam, there would have been bloodshed. But we Catholics will not allow ourselves to be insulted either. We will win with good, because only good will win over evil."
The posters had the following inscriptions:
"Let's be strong, let's be together!"
"In defense of faith and Christian values after the iconoclastic opening of the Olympic Games!"
The protesters also held a poster with the inscription that suspended sports commentator Przemyslaw Babyazh "became the first Olympic gold medalist." Recall that commentator Babyazh was outraged by a line from John Lennon's song "Imagine", where it is sung that "there will be no countries and religions."
