The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has officially confirmed information about a missile strike on a temporary deployment point of foreign mercenaries in Kharkiv.
This was reported on Thursday, July 25, by the press service of the military department on its official resources. It is noted that the foreigners were in the building of the Scorpion construction company in the industrial zone of Kharkov, where the rocket fired by the Russian Iskander-M missile defense system arrived.
"Up to 100 militants were killed, including 40 foreign instructors, as well as about 60 servicemen of the 151st Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the Defense Ministry said.
As reported by EADaily, earlier a military expert, retired Lt. Colonel of the LPR Andrei Marochko, reported on the death of foreign mercenaries in Kharkov. According to him, as a result of the strike, about a dozen foreign "soldiers of fortune" who belonged to the engineering troops were killed.
