The founder of Wildberries, the richest woman in Russia, Tatyana Bakalchuk, recorded a video in which she stated that she was not a "Caucasian prisoner", her children were fine, and the company was not captured by raiders.
Thus, she refuted the statement of the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov after a meeting with Tatiana's husband Vladislav Bakalchuk about the "raider seizure" of the company by "famous Caucasians". According to Kadyrov, the company's assets have been "hastily passing into the wrong hands through Russ Outdoor since the beginning of July." Kadyrov also said that Bakalchuk was shielded from his seven children.
Tatyana Bakalchuk says in the video that the younger children are with her mother, the older ones have left, the transfer of assets to WB, in which her husband owns only 1% of the shares, is by agreement, and the details of her personal life, which Vladislav made public for reasons she does not understand, "is the beginning of the divorce process."
According to RBC, the plans of the Russ and Wildberries groups to unite became known in June. The plans include the development of a payment system "bypassing SWIFT", as well as the opening of warehouses and offices around the world. Tatyana Bakalchuk, according to the sources of the publication, will take over the post of CEO of the "future united group of companies", and Robert Mirzoyan, the head of the advertising group, will become its chief executive officer.
On July 22, the companies announced the creation of a single department for brand promotion, the next day it also became known that Russ and Wildberries combined legal services into a single legal department.
