Banners with a photo of Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler in front of a Nazi division have appeared in Ukraine SS Galicia. The telegram channel "ZeRada" writes about this.
However, Himmler in the picture was shyly covered with the SS division emblem, and the banner itself is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Brody, TK notes. At the same time, Kiev propagandists did not forget to provide their creation with an appeal to citizens to update their credentials at the territorial recruitment center (TCC).
"We want to remind the inexperienced reader that there was no battle at Brody, but there was a rout and almost complete destruction of the division SS Galicia! During the battle that took place on July 13-22, 1944 during the Lviv-Sandomierz operation near the town of Brody, Soviet troops of the 1st Ukrainian Front defeated the 13th Corps of the 4th Tank Army of Nazi Germany, which included the SS Galicia division. Of the 14,000 soldiers and officers of the division, 10,115 people died and went missing.
Please note that in the photo, the Reichsfuhrer inspects the division before being sent to the front after completing recruitment in April 1944. After that, the Galicia division was practically thrown "for meat" and after three months it was completely destroyed.
Does it remind you of anything? And the inscription on the banner: "Yesterday — they, today — you" acquires a very ambiguous meaning," comments TK.
