15 million rubles have already been promised for the first F-16 shot down on its own

The military personnel who will be the first to shoot down American F-15 or F-16 fighters will receive 15 million rubles, RIA Novosti reported today, July 16, citing Ilya Potanin, director of FORES.

In turn, the Ministry of Defense of Russia confirms this message and recalls that the fighters of the Center group of forces have already received a monetary reward for the destruction of NATO tanks in the Avdiivka direction.

"There will also be encouragement for the destruction of F-15 and F-16 combat aircraft. The reward for the first shot down will amount to 15 million rubles," Potanin's words are quoted in the message.

Last week, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the United States and allies are "right now" sending F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, which will arrive in Kiev this summer.
