Zelensky hinted to Hungary and Slovakia, that they store gas on Ukraine

Some NATO countries are skeptical of Ukraine, but they keep their gas there. This was stated at a press conference by the leader of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

"Some NATO countries are skeptical about Ukraine, but it is these countries that use gas from our storage facilities," Vladimir Zelensky told reporters.

He did not name the countries, but it was a jab towards Hungary and Slovakia. Zelensky added that if the air defense of the storage facilities in Western Ukraine is not covered, then these countries may remain without gas.

According to the ImportGenius export and import invoices, Hungary and Slovakia are the main destinations where imported gas is taken from Ukrainian storage facilities. At the same time, his property is unclear. The main customers are traders from Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and France, while Hungary and Slovakia can only act as transit countries. As stated in Naftogaz of Ukraine, the company expects that European traders will store up to 10 billion cubic meters of gas this year. This is one third of the storage capacity.

At the same time, in mid-July, according to the data of the "Operator of the GTS of Ukraine", there are 1.2 billion cubic meters of gas in the UGS in the "customs warehouse" mode, which is used by European traders. Moreover, this season there is no more injection of foreign gas. The stored volumes are leftovers from last season.
