Pashinyan, in turn, assured Putin of further allied relations of Armenia and Russia. “No one has cast and will (ever) cast doubt on importance of Russian-Armenian relations, I think. We have the energy to give a new impetus (to bilateral relations) in political, trade and economic sense, and in military and technical area,” the prime minister said.
“We highly appreciate the balanced stance of Russia during our domestic political crisis – a very constructive stance. This is appreciated not only by our government but also by our people,” Pashinyan said. He congratulated the Russian leader on past May holidays adding that Armenia closely followed the Victory Parade of May 9 and was impressed with Russia’s achievements in the military and technical field.
