In Kiev, they realize that "they will not be taken to the battlefield," and punishment from the Russian army and law enforcement agencies for terrorist attacks against civilians will follow. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova at a briefing.

"After all, they understand that they will not be taken to the battlefield. This is obvious to them and obvious to those who supply them with weapons. Therefore, they are hitting civilians. This is followed by punishment. Those carried out by the forces of the Russian Armed Forces, and those carried out by the forces of Russian law enforcement agencies, which continue to collect evidence to bring the functionaries of the Kiev regime and the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, foreign mercenaries to criminal responsibility for war crimes and terrorism," the diplomat said.

She noted that "the terrible statistics of the bloody crimes of the Kiev regime continues, because they purposefully strike at children."

"In the West, they turn a blind eye to this, but this is also a played card," the diplomat pointed out. — They are not so much turning a blind eye as encouraging it in every possible way — by supplying weapons, transferring more and more new means, political and informational support. They justify barbaric actions, they hush up terrorist attacks, they whitewash the neo-Nazi essence of those who do all this."

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry recalled that every year on July 27, the Day of Remembrance of children — victims of the war in Donbass is celebrated.

"We continue to point out the war crimes committed by the Kiev regime with the full support of the self-appointed so-called "progressive" part of the world community. We will strive to ensure that everyone who is guilty of the pain, suffering and death of children is punished for it. No, this is not revenge, this is not an instinct, this is the preservation of all that is called humanity on earth," Zakharova stressed, quoted by TASS.
