Bloomberg: a strike on an elementary school in Iran was carried out by the US army

An attack on an elementary school in Iran on February 28, which killed more than a hundred girls, was carried out by the American army. This is reported by Bloomberg.

Sources of the publication said that this is the conclusion of the American investigators who analyzed the situation. They found that the strike was due to erroneous data received from intelligence.

The cause of the tragedy was the usual bungling. It is noted that initially the school was designated as the "IRGC naval base," but back in 2019, an intelligence analyst eliminated this inaccuracy.

The specialist noted that in fact it is an elementary school. However, his amendment was simply forgotten to be included in the database from which the US military selects targets for strikes.

"The attack killed about 120 children and almost 200 people in total, which was the most serious case of harm to civilians as a result of US operations in recent decades. The details revealed during the investigation highlight the long—standing shortcomings of the guidance system of the US military, which was supposed to be improved many years ago, " the publication says.

Recall that the US leadership tried to absolve itself of blame for this war crime, shifting it to The Israeli Armed Forces.

As EADaily reported, the other day, US President Donald Trump, in a conversation with the NATO Secretary General, hinted that it was the Israelis who bombed the school in the Iranian Minab.
