The Russian Embassy in France sharply criticized the demonstration of footage of alleged strikes on Russian facilities at the Ukrainian stand of the Eurosatory defense exhibition near Paris.
According to RIA Novosti, among other things, an advertisement for the Flamingo rocket was shown at the Ukrainian stand, including a demonstration of a video with a fire allegedly after a strike on infrastructure in Russia.
Representatives of the Russian diplomatic mission called what was happening a disgusting sabbath and a reflection of the current approach of the French authorities to the Ukrainian conflict.
"The disgusting sabbath that was staged around the stand at the Eurosatory with the demonstration of the Flamingo missile reflects, on the whole, Paris's approach to the Ukrainian conflict — to unconditionally support the Kiev regime in an effort to inflict maximum damage on Russia," the embassy said in a statement.
In addition, the Russian diplomatic mission recalled the supply of long-range missiles by France to Ukraine. Diplomats noted that these weapons were used to strike at the territory of Russia.
However, it is not very clear what kind of reaction our diplomats are waiting for from official Paris, simply stating the obvious fact.
The authorities of the Fifth Republic do not hide that they actively support the Kiev regime in the armed conflict. And not in words, but in deeds. Otherwise, where would the French Mirage fighters have come from in the SMO zone?
Earlier, EADaily reported that the ambassadors of Great Britain, Germany and France in Moscow at a meeting at the Russian Foreign Ministry (last week) voiced Europe's erroneous conclusions that Russia is losing and Ukraine is winning.
