The Kyrgyz authorities have introduced state regulation of the import of petroleum products and set fixed import prices. The difference from the market value will be paid from the budget.
"The Government of Kyrgyzstan adopted a resolution on measures to stabilize prices for fuels and lubricants, the document was signed by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev," Interfax reports.
So, from May 25 to September 30, the state will subsidize the import of gasoline, diesel fuel and liquefied gas.
"Fixed purchase prices for imported fuel have been set for this purpose: Ai-92 gasoline — $ 860 per ton; Ai-95 - $ 940 per ton; diesel fuel — $ 950 per ton; liquefied gas — $ 575 per ton. The government intends to compensate importers for the difference between the market value of fuel and the set prices through subsidies," the agency writes.
Also, the Ministry of Economy will temporarily introduce state regulation of prices for petroleum products with the establishment of the maximum retail value.
