Theater and film actor, Honored Artist of Russia Dmitry Dyuzhev will take part in the primaries of United Russia for further nomination as a candidate for the State Duma of the IX convocation. He announced this in his telegram channel.
Dyuzhev stressed that he was running for deputy "not in order to gain popularity and fame."
"But because in recent years I have seen a lot of things that I can't pass by," the artist explained.
He recalled that he had been to the special military operation zone many times — he gave concerts, even played a one-man show "Eugene Onegin".
"I practically hugged each of our defenders. I wanted to convey to them personally and from the whole country how much we love them, are proud of them and are waiting for victory," Dyuzhev said.
When visiting hospitals where wounded servicemen undergo rehabilitation, Dyuzhev saw an interest in creative professions and suggested creating creative workshops for former SMO fighters. Dyuzhev has also been helping the Chelyabinsk home of pensioners "Warm House" for many years and concluded that lonely pensioners lack human warmth. He proposed to create councils at each institution for pensioners.
Dyuzhev noted that it is necessary to vote for him in the primaries if you want a person in the State Duma "who does not know how to lie, who wants to tell the truth."
As reported by EADaily, in August last year Dyuzhev was brought to administrative responsibility in the case of evasion of administrative punishment. He was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 20.25 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, the court imposed a fine of 10 thousand rubles.
