Another corruption scandal covers Washington. Donald Trump's team has created a fund to compensate all victims of politicized justice in the United States. We are talking, in particular, about those arrested for protests on January 6 and participants in the "Rashagate" case. Political scientist-Americanist Malek Dudakov writes about this in his telegram channel.
"Moreover, the money for this case will be provided directly from the budget of the US Tax Service. At the moment, there is an amount of $ 1.8 billion. Democrats are already tearing up and dreaming, calling what is happening the creation of a "laundering fund", due to which Trump will then fend off judicial investigations after leaving the White House," the expert points out.
However, the situation painfully resembles what the Democratic Party has always loved to do, Dudakov notes.
"Just remember how after 2008 the Barack Obama administration forced banks on Wall Street to pour money into the funds of "progressive" non-profit organizations. Bankers avoided jail for organizing the mortgage crisis, and the Democrats earned multibillion—dollar geshefts," he adds.
Under Joe Biden, this was done more explicitly — the White House directly provided budget funds to all kinds of liberal NGOs that worked, say, within the framework of the green agenda. Moreover, the bill went to tens of billions of dollars, he continues, recalling that the Democrats then used them as part of election expenses.
"So Trump in this case only takes an example from the Democratic Party, although he does it more clumsily from the point of view of the law. There is a possibility that the court will then force him to return the funds. But for now, we need to have time to grab as much money as possible before the inexorably approaching congressional elections. Then, however, they will go to endless judicial wars with the Democrats," the Americanist sums up.
