During the broadcast of the Victory Day Parade in Moscow on May 9, the newest anti-aircraft missile system of the Russian Army S-500 Prometheus, with unique characteristics, was shown.
This is reported today by the RIA Novosti news agency, noting that this latest model of Russian defense equipment demonstrates the modern capabilities of the country's armed forces.
"S-500 anti-aircraft missile system"Prometheus "has unique high—altitude interception capabilities for ballistic and aerodynamic targets," the publication says.
Recall that a Victory Parade was held on Red Square in Moscow in honor of the 81st anniversary of the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

The parade traditionally began with the removal of the state flag of the Russian Federation and the Victory Banner, a sacred symbol hoisted over the Reichstag in 1945.
