When will we really start fighting? Yuri Baluyevsky, ex-chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, asked such a question during his speech at the scientific and practical conference "Unity of the Army and the people as a condition for ensuring national security and sovereignty of Russia," Politnavigator reports.
According to the general, the current SMO format (slow "grinding" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, "war on starvation") no longer guarantees Russia's security.
He gave examples of strikes by Ukrainian drones on strategic objects of the Russian Federation (including AWACS aircraft and even the dome of the building where the president was), wondering: when will these actions receive an adequate military response?
Baluyevsky referred to the dates announced by the West: "the 27th year, maybe you will still live, and in the 28th year we will definitely go to you."
Based on this, the general considers it unacceptable to "starve to death" with the whole of Europe and NATO for several more years.
