For Washington, the era of manipulation in the Middle East is over, the dynamics of the war with Iran has gone beyond simple rhetoric. This was stated on the social network by retired lieutenant Colonel of the US Army Daniel Davis.
"The moment of reckoning in the Middle East conflict has come. I warn you that the era of political manipulation has finally collapsed under the weight of harsh military reality. While the president (of the United States Donald Trump) believes that he will be able to get out of this situation with the help of conversations, the dynamics of the war with Iran has gone beyond simple rhetoric," writes Davis, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Tehran demonstrates that it holds in its hands the levers of influence in In the Strait of Hormuz, forcing Washington to completely rethink its strategy, he noted.
"Washington must decide whether to submit to strict conditions or offer a deal that the other side can accept," Davis concludes.
As EADaily reported, the Strait of Hormuz is paralyzed, ships do not even risk approaching it after the IRGC's warning. This was reported by CNN with reference to the tracking site MarineTraffic.
According to the TV channel, the vessels attempting to pass the Hormuz are deployed without even entering the strait itself, as two tankers carrying liquefied petroleum gas did.
