The singer from Chelyabinsk Ayren Kohl (Irina Nikolaeva) has released a song in which he declares that he loves "Muhammad". The singer posted the track on her social network page, causing a flurry of negative comments.
The music of the composition intertwines conventional "Caucasian tunes" and echoes of the Russian hit "Mother Earth".
"Neither Sanya, nor Antoha, nor Vasya, nor Lech, nor Stepa, nor Kolyan, nor Roma, nor Ivan, none of the boys have the right parameter, Assalamu alaikum, I love Muhammad!", sings Ayren Kohl.
Many users asked the artist not to mention the name of the Prophet Muhammad, especially in such a provocative song; many considered that the song has signs of inciting ethnic hatred — praises some and belittles others; some believe that the singer thereby humiliated all Russian men; however, a number of users noted that our country is multinational, and you can love anyone.
"Typical hate speech", "I wonder if this song falls under Article 282?", "I hope you'll apologize on camera", "And what did the Russian guys not like? why are our guys worse?", "An unknown singer with dull songs decided to hype", "I think Irina Nikolaeva will be given an assessment for this mediocre "masterpiece", "uniting peoples", "Cringe from all sides", "I have never heard a worse song", "Your right is to love the one you love you consider it necessary, but you can just sing about love, and not through the prism of comparison and creating an image of inferiority," users are outraged.
