Without NATO, the United States in the form in which they exist is impossible. This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Poland Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh.
Kosinyak is a Reed. He commented on the words of US President Donald Trump about a possible withdrawal from the North Atlantic Alliance.
"I hope that there will be a moment for calm in the emotions in which the US president is today. Because there is no NATO without the United States, and it is in our interests that this lull comes. But without NATO, there is no American power," said the head of the Polish Defense Ministry and added that without NATO, the United States in the form in which they exist is impossible.
At the same time, he stressed that Poland should strive for NATO stability.
Earlier, Donald Trump, in an interview with the British newspaper The Telegraph, said that he was seriously considering the possibility of the United States withdrawing from NATO. According to media reports, he also called the alliance a "paper tiger." The main dissatisfaction with Trump was caused by the fact that the allies refused to support American actions in the war with Iran.
