The new honorary consul of Ukraine in the Dominican Republic was the former nude model Victoria Yakimova, who had previously been photographed in candid images.
"When submitting my candidacy for the post of Honorary Consul, I did not try to hide my previous life related to modeling. A modern self—sufficient woman has the right to realize herself in her chosen profession, as well as to change the direction of development and grow," Yakimova wrote on Facebook ❶.
The Ukrainian media was most outraged not by this, but by the fact that Yakimova has a photo in a Russian kokoshnik, they are dated 2022.
