WPD has submitted an application for financial rehabilitation (rehabilitation) of a wind farm with a capacity of 188 MW in Finland. Kauppalehti writes about this.
As the newspaper notes, problems at the power plant arose when the electricity market was transferred to a 15-minute trading interval. The essence of the situation is that the station sends an application with a forecast volume, and if the actual output turns out to be lower, then the company buys the difference in the market.
In addition, the cold winter in Finland with no wind added to the station's problems, the Finnish edition writes. They added that the Finnish energy system has become subject to sharp fluctuations in electricity after the cessation of electricity imports from Russia.
