17 countries and the European Commission are interested in Hungary's position on the issue of "Friendship". This was stated on the Facebook social network ❶ by the State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Energy, Gabor Tsepek, the head of the delegation to check the condition of the pipeline.

"The energy negotiations ended in Kiev today. Seventeen countries were interested in Hungary's position on the issue of the Druzhba oil pipeline. Earlier, Prime Minister Viktor Orban discussed with Tsepek issues of interaction with the authorities of Ukraine. Orban believes that it is necessary to seek a meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, as well as to ask to allow the Hungarian delegation to inspect the pipeline itself.

As reported by EADaily, the European Commission requested permission from Kiev to inspect the Druzhba oil pipeline, but received no response. This was stated at a briefing in EC representative Anna-Kaisa Itkonen in Brussels.
