Carlson retaliated against Trump, declaring that "American diplomacy is fake"

The well-known American journalist Tucker Carlson, whom US President Donald Trump expelled from his organization MAGA (Make America Great Again), accused the White House of conducting "fake diplomacy" because negotiations are used to distract attention before possible military actions.

"The message to the rest of the world is this: American diplomacy is fake. She's not real. You send negotiators, they distract us, and then you prepare a surprise attack on us," the journalist said in a video posted on X.

Carlson also wondered how such a practice could differ from the "dishonorable attacks" known in history. In particular, he mentioned the Japanese attack on the US naval base Pearl Harbor in 1941, saying that he did not see a fundamental difference.

Carlson subsequently tried to smooth over the conflict, telling Oliver Darcy of Status: "There are times when Trump annoys me, and right now he definitely refers to them. But I will always love him no matter what he says about me."

On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran. Washington called its goals to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons, destroy the republic's navy and neutralize Iranian proxies in the Middle East, including Hamas and Hezbollah.
