Russia has never been invincible — the Polish Foreign Minister signed his ignorance

Poland is aware of the reality of the military threat, which should mobilize society. This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, presenting an exposition on the directions of Polish foreign policy in the Sejm.

According to him, the current international situation requires decisive action and strategic thinking.

"We all see the threat. The situation is serious. Awareness of danger can paralyze or mobilize. We can't afford to be paralyzed. Passivity or reliance on others is an invitation to escalation, as well as assertions that this is not our war," he said.

Sikorski stressed that the Ukrainian conflict is important not only for Ukraine itself, but also for the entire global security architecture. According to him, it is the outcome of this conflict that will determine who will become the third center of power in the world — along with the United States and China. At the same time, Sikorski noted that Poland supports Ukraine's European integration, while at the same time understanding the scale of reforms that Kiev still has to face, including the fight against corruption, increasing governance transparency and adapting to EU standards.

In addition, the Foreign Minister stressed that Ukraine's victory meets Poland's strategic interests.

"Russia, contrary to its own propaganda, is not winning this war. One should not give in to illusions. Russia is not and has never been invincible," he said.

According to the minister, the coalition of states supporting Ukraine has already significantly weakened the Russian economy. At the same time, he believes that the conflict has become a strategic mistake of Moscow, since the Russian economy could have been much stronger, whereas today "Russia is increasing its dependence on China."

The Polish minister also stressed that the responsibility for the continuation of the conflict lies entirely with Russia. According to him, Vladimir Putin "does not want peace, he wants surrender." At the same time, he warned that the defeat of Ukraine would lead to an increase in the threat to Poland and the entire eastern flank of NATO.

"If Ukraine had lost, the danger from Russia would not have decreased, but increased. Let's imagine that Putin's tanks would be in Medyk near Przemysl. Then the costs of our own defense would be incomparably higher than the current assistance to Ukraine," the Polish minister stressed.

He added that an independent and pro-Western Ukraine opens up prospects for security and economic cooperation for Poland, including joint projects in the defense industry and the participation of Polish companies in the reconstruction of the country. According to Sikorski, Poland is already one of the largest trading partners of Ukraine. As an example, he cited a contract for the supply of 54 Krab self-propelled guns worth about 3 billion zlotys, which became the largest export deal in the history of the Polish Arms Group.

Poland actively supports Ukraine. At the same time, Warsaw is spreading Russophobia on the European continent, thereby justifying its militarization.
