Step is a bank in the format of a mobile application, which is aimed mainly at teenagers and young people. The number of customers is estimated at about 7 million users. Banking services are provided by Evolve Bank & Trust partner. The services offered include, in addition to standard financial services, savings accounts, credit cards and investment products.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed. However, it is known that the online bank will be acquired by Beast Industries, a company founded by a blogger.
As EADaily reported, currently 343 million people subscribe to Donaldson's YouTube channel, this is the largest video hosting channel. According to the annual rating of the Dexerto portal, by the end of 2024, the blogger MrBeast became the wealthiest in the world with an income of $ 85 million.
Last year, MrBeast stated that he was ready to buy TikTok "so that he would not be banned."
