On the eve of three consecutive solo concerts, the singer, Honored Artist of Russia Dima Bilan hired personal security. This is reported by Channel Five.
It is specified that, having started a conversation with journalists, Bilan asked if any of them were ill or coughing.
"Three solo concerts, I'm worried, that's why I don't go out into society, I'm specially saved, so to speak... there are no tickets really anymore. There was even an idea to make a fourth. It's just that I probably can't stand it for four days in a row," Bilan shared.
Personal guards were also hired for the purpose of "self-preservation."
"I don't want to take any chances. I need to hold concerts for sure. And for sure, most likely, there will be another big concert in the summer and by the anniversary, by 45. I really need to keep myself very well, you know, like this. Just in case, so that there are no insinuations," the artist explained.
He added that he was not afraid of the public and did not experience a sudden attack of "squeamishness." The artist willingly contacts colleagues, spectators and journalists, at each of his concerts he always goes to the hall.
"You just need to be a little more careful. I don't want to get into any penalties. I want to do everything perfectly," Bilan concluded.
As EADaily reported, last summer Bilan canceled a completely sold-out concert in Sochi due to problems with the singing apparatus after numerous concerts. The artist noted that, according to the phoniatre, the ligaments are really very inflamed after the concert that has just ended. If you do not pause for one or two days, you can drop out of the concert schedule for weeks.
