According to Ukrhydrometcenter, by the weekend on Frosts will return to Ukraine. So, on February 1, the thermometer in the capital will drop at night to minus 18-20 degrees Celsius, and in the afternoon to minus 13-14 degrees. Even in The temperature in Odessa will drop to minus 10-12.
Meanwhile, emergency power outages continue in the country. In Kiev and the region, as well as in part of the Odessa region, hourly shutdowns are still not in effect, according to DTEK.
"Emergency power outages have been introduced in certain regions of Ukraine. The previously published de-energization schedules in the regions where emergency shutdowns have been applied are not yet in effect. Power engineers are working to restore stable power supply as soon as possible," Ukrenergo reports.
Without power supply in 710 thousand consumers remain in Kiev, Energy Minister Denis Shmygal said yesterday.

The head of the administration of the Desnyansky district of Kiev Maxim Bakhmatov said yesterday that there are no fewer houses without heating.

It is known that tents are being set up in residential areas of Kiev to heat residents and are even going to dig toilets, as the sewage system in unheated houses is frozen.
The head of the Union of Consumers of Public Utilities of Ukraine Oleg Popenko said on television that repairs of houses with non-functioning sewerage will take years.
The Ukrainian authorities say that generators from the EU are arriving in the country.
"Kiev has received from Poland 130 generators of different capacities, which in the conditions of the energy crisis on the Ukraine and the capital will allow the city to strengthen the level of stability of critical facilities, social institutions," Vitali Klitschko said. According to him, another 90 generators are on the way.
Denis Shmygal, the head of the Ministry of Energy, also announced the delivery of generators.
"Over the past week, we have received 31 tons of cargo — generators, transformers and other equipment from Spain, Finland, Norway and Austria. We expect an extensive batch of generators from Lithuania and the European Union in the near future," the minister said.
