The evacuation of government buildings began in the Venezuelan capital Caracas after active shooting at drones near the Miraflores Presidential Palace, Caracol radio station reported.
"The sources of Noticias Caracol reported that the evacuation of ministries and government buildings located in the epicenter of the clashes (the center of Caracas) is currently underway. Businesses and areas located near the scene of the shooting are closed due to an emergency situation, as a result of which buyers and residents remain blocked inside until the situation improves," the material on the Caracol website says.
On Monday evening, residents of the capital of Venezuela reported the sounds of automatic bursts near the Miraflores Palace. The causes of the incident were not officially named.
According to Caracol, drones could have been fixed over the palace building, after which the shooting began, causing panic among the townspeople. Information about the origin of the drones and possible victims is currently missing, official comments from the authorities have not been received.
