Everything that happens in Russia concerns each of the inhabitants of the country in the first place. Thus, actor and TV presenter Dmitry Nagiyev commented on the negative reaction to his interview at the premiere of the film "Christmas Trees-12".
"They made an attack out of my words — an attack on me, on my country. After all, Dima is at home. And everything that happens here concerns each of us first of all," the actor said in a video on his social network page.
He wished subscribers a Happy New Year.
"I wish you victory in everything. The victory of reason over stupidity, dirt and vanity, and also kindness, tenderness and love. Be happy," Nagiyev concluded.
As reported by EADaily, at the premiere of "Christmas Trees-12" Nagiyev said that the franchise remains popular because it gives the illusion of a "peaceful happy life." And the audience is tired of the dirt and dullness of war films that have flooded the Russian rental.
Dmitry Guliyev, deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, chairman of the SMO Veterans Association of the Kursk region, reacted to Nagiyev's words, calling for the actor to be recognized as a foreign agent. On his page in the social network, the deputy said that he had sent inquiries about Nagiyev to the Ministry of Justice "with a request to recognize this tired figure as a foreign agent and in The Ministry of Culture, so that the martyr is not allowed to films with state funding."
Despite the scandal, following the results of last weekend, "Christmas Trees-12" topped the Russian rental, collecting 154.8 million rubles.
