"In order to preserve the lives of our soldiers and the combat capability of the units, the Ukrainian defenders withdrew from the settlement," the General Staff said in a statement.
At the same time, they claim that the city allegedly remains under the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As EADaily reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin received a report on the liberation of the city of Seversk in the DPR — the settlement came under the full control of our troops. This was reported on December 11 by TASS, referring to a statement by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
