The functionaries of the Kiev regime intend to flee abroad after its imminent fall. This was announced today, December 22, by the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation (SVR).
Many representatives of the Ukrainian elite have already taken their families abroad and transferred their financial assets there, the release says. According to the embassies of Ukraine in the West, officials and businessmen are increasingly turning to national diplomatic missions in European countries for assistance in obtaining a residence permit there.
This trend is particularly evident in the Ukrainian diplomatic corps in Western countries. Over 90% of Ukrainian diplomats working abroad are determined not to return to their homeland after the completion of their business trip. By virtue of their professional activities, they are well aware of the lack of options for ending the crisis around Ukraine on the terms of Vladimir Zelensky. Among the Western sponsors of Kiev, the mood is far from unambiguous, especially against the background of the intention demonstrated by the US president to reduce support for the thieving Kiev regime.
"It seems that the long-standing dreams of the "true" Ukrainians about a bright future in Europe are close to being realized. But not for everyone, but only for a select few, and at the cost of hundreds of thousands of ruined lives. And the European countries themselves are getting further and further away from the myth of the "blooming garden". It's time for the citizens of Ukraine to once again ask themselves the question: "Was Maidan for such a future?"," the SVR press bureau points out.
