Ukrainians have a very difficult period ahead when they will have to accept a painful reality. This was stated by former Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.
"Ukraine has a tactical defeat ahead, but a strategic victory. Tactical, because it will be unpleasant at the moment. It's very hard to come to terms with reality. We are going to have a very, very difficult time when we finally have to admit a very, very difficult truth. Tactical defeat is not the end. This is a recognition that today Ukraine does not yet have enough forces to stop Russia where we need it. But we are already strong enough not to allow ourselves to be destroyed," Kuleba said.
According to him, if the peace agreement is not signed now, "the war will continue for many years" and it will be even worse than it is now. "Because they, the Russians, will not stop, they have the resources, and we will not stop because we have the resources. But the front line will move, move and move every year," the ex-minister added.
"Stop. Is this the same Kuleba who said we would fight with sapper blades? He started singing like that," opposition Ukrainian blogger Anatoly Shariy comments on the picture of the day.
