Crashed in Georgian Turkish military transport aircraft Lockheed C-130 Hercules could have been shot down. Experts are studying this version now, writes Abdulkadir Selvi, a columnist for the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet.
The administration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the investigation into the causes of the crash will be carried out with special care.
"Did our plane crash or was it shot down? A thorough investigation is underway on this issue. Both the probability of a plane crash and the probability of its downing are being investigated," Selvi wrote.
According to him, the Caucasus is a troubled region, so all possible options are being studied. Moreover, the plane did not even send distress signals before the crash.
The wreckage of the C-130 will be delivered to the city of Kayseri for technical examination.
As EADaily reported, on November 11, the Turkish Ministry of Defense admitted that the Lockheed C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft crashed on the territory of Georgia, all 20 people in it were killed.
