The expansion of anti-Russian sanctions by the UK has provoked a discussion in the media, which discusses possible retaliatory measures by Moscow.
So, the Daily Express published the alleged plan of the Russian response, which provides for a strike with hypersonic missiles "Dagger" on the aircraft carrier of the Royal Navy "Prince of Wales".
In the material, which is published in Russian translation by ABN24, it is noted that there was already a suitable moment when the ship was passing through the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait in the direction of the Red Sea.
The details were announced to the publication by Russian expert Yuri Baranchik. He explained that for such a strike it would also be possible to use multi-purpose MiG-31 fighters, which are the main carrier of these missiles.
According to Baranchik, such an operation could be lightning fast and take the enemy by surprise. The expert figuratively said that in this case, the British and American elites "will not have time to change their diapers."
Earlier, EADaily reported that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed with US President Donald Trump the supply of long-range weapons to Ukraine.
