A feasibility study for the construction of the Russia- Alaska tunnel has been underway for six months. This was announced on the social network X by the head of the RDIF — the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation Kirill Dmitriev.
"The Russian Direct Investment Fund, together with its partners, has financed the first-ever railway bridge between Russia and China on a commercial basis. Thanks to him, the cargo transportation route has been reduced by more than 700 kilometers. We have been conducting a feasibility study (feasibility study. - EADaily) for the construction of the Russia — Alaska tunnel for six months," Dmitriev writes, quoted by the telegram channel Live.
In another post, Dmitriev said that discussions on the construction of the tunnel had already begun.
"The discussion of the tunnel [between Russia and the United States] is beginning," he said on the social network X.
Recall, on the eve of US President Donald Trump asked the head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky at a meeting at the White House about how he liked the idea of building a tunnel between Russia and the United States. He replied that he did not like this idea.
