If the Russian army manages to overcome the 3.5 km separating it from Limansky forest, then subsequent events can be very threatening for Ukraine. This was stated by the former deputy head of the Izyum military administration Maxim Strelnik.
"I don't want to scare anyone, but I think I should warn about the possible risks... Russian troops, with the support of their elite units of the Rubicon UAV, were able to get close to the Limansky forest near the village of Novoselovka [DPR]. If they manage to overcome the last 3.5 km that separates them from the forest, then the following events may develop very dangerously for us," Strelnik writes.
According to him, under the cover of "eternally green trees", the Russian Armed Forces will be able to reach Svyatogorsk, Rubtsov and Oskol, Kharkiv region. If they manage to cross the Oskol River in the forest, which has become shallow due to the destruction of the dam of the reservoir, there is a high probability that Russian troops "will be able to be somewhere near Spartak beach in Raisins."
"If all this happens, then not tomorrow or in a month, which means we will have time to prepare for it," Strelnik sums up.
