Russia is following the statements of US President Donald Trump, but the statements of former Western officials are not worth attention. This was announced today, October 1, by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
"Of course, we analyze all the statements of President Trump with great attention," the Kremlin spokesman said.
At the same time, statements by former Western officials addressed to Russia, including calls by former British Defense Minister Ben Wallace to strike at Crimea, are frankly stupid.
"Let's comment on the statements of the current defense ministers. As for the former defense ministers, especially those who make such stupid statements, we do not consider it necessary to comment on them," Peskov stressed.
